The Nepteau Boutique was founded in the early 80s. After 20 years, there have been only two owners.
Éric took over in 1992, and you can be sure to see him at the boutique. He has a passion for diving and will be happy to dutifully share his knowledge and answer your questions.

Éric started diving at 13. After several hundred dives in the Memphrémagog Lake, he left for his commercial diving training in Toronto. After working a few years in the field, he found himself at Nepteau, and according to him, for a long time!
After diving all over the world and practicing all types of dives, he remains crazy about the sport. Don't be surprised if you meet him during a weekend excursion on the Nepteau, along with Clément and Frédéric.

Description soon on line

                                             In memory
In the early 90s, Clément discovered his passion for scuba diving. Averaging one hundred dives a year, he never says no to getting wet.
Whatever the type or the location, he is always the first one in and the last one out. Even after dozens of dives, he can still show you something that you had not seen.

Our Instructors: François, Lorne, Nathalie, Jo-Ann and Gaetan.

  Nathalie Feuiltault
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer 207376

A PADI Instructor since 1999, I teach diving because I love the sport, but also because of my passion for people, travel and adventure. I have had the pleasure of teaching in English and in French with Nepteau since February 2001. Previously, I taught scuba diving in France, my home for 7 seven years, as well as in Egypt.

My scuba diving teaching philosophy is straight forward: safety and fun through the thoroughness of the learning experience and the variety of the dive experiences. I am qualified to teach all of the core diving classes, including: Open Water Diver, Advanced Diver, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, and also First Aid CPR and many specialty courses which can lead the interested diver to the very sought after Master Scuba Diver certification, the highest non-professional certification level. The PADI dive specialties I teach are:

Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Wreck Diver Deep Diver Drift Diver
Dry Suit Diver Night Diver Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB) Equipment Specialist
Underwater Naturalist A.W.A.R.E. Coral Reef Conservation Project A.W.A.R.E. Research Diver (in progress!)

On a more occasional and recreative note, I also enjoy ice diving, underwater video/photography and technical diving as a FFESSM/CMAS Level 3 decompression diver. My current scuba diving education goals include completing a full-cave diving certification and obtaining my PADI Tec Deep Instructor qualification.

Scuba diving has been an integral part of my life for 15 years. I have explored below surface environments all over the world, from the warm and tumultuous Indian Ocean Maldivian atolls and Zanzibarian coasts, to the Carribean Blue (Roatan, Ste-Lucia, Cuba, Florida Keys, Riviera Maya), with long stopovers in Egypt’s pristine Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea’s deep and cool waters (Marseille, Côte d'Azur, Italy, Corsica), and below the surface of the Alps’ frozen lakes, without forgetting of course all of my pleasurable experiences right here in Canada. I am particularily fond of ecosystem and seaboard diversity; my favourite dives are bottomless and I must confess that I am fascinated by sharks, especially at night! Live-aboards are my idea of a great dive trip because of the remoteness and thus preservation of the dive sites and of the friendly atmosphere one can expect.

Deep down, however deep and wherever enjoyed, scuba diving is an extraordinary experience which never lets you down! And since a big part of why I love diving is all the great people I meet, I look forward to meeting you in my classes, above and underwater!!!

FRANÇOIS BRISSON
PADI Master Instructor

I discovered the amazing underwater world back in 1987 and never stop learning ever since whilst my passion grew for the sport.  Trained as a PADI Open Water Instructor in 1997, I had the chance to share my passion for diving to numerous students, from beginners to more advanced divers.  Throughout that time, while being busy teaching, I managed to continue to discover new dive sites, explore known ones and take new challenge such as Underwater photography and Cave diving.  I actively teach diving the Nepteau since 1999.

In addition to my DAN Instructor and EFR Instructor Trainer ratings, I am also a PSI visual inspector, DSAT instructor and remains active in the lifesaving domains, especially with the Lifesaving Society as a specialty Instructor.

Feel free to visit my personal page in order to learn more about my specialty course calendar and meet my assistants.

It will be with great pleasure that I will guide you, teach you or simply meet you throughout the diving season, all of this, with the assistance of my team of assistants.

Whatever the type of diving that interests you, Yannick and Eric have enough experience to help you in your choice of diving.
Whether you choose wreck diving, in currents, night diving, deep diving, under ice, snorkelling or with mixtures of nitrox and trimix, they will help you to choose well.
If you like cavern diving, talk to them. Each year, they go back to Florida where they trained for cavern diving and will gladly talk to you about it.
